As the newest member of the staff, Ken comes to us from Mexia, Texas, where he served the First Presbyterian Church for over 15 years. Before that he served Presbyterian churches in Neosho, MO, Graham, TX, and Littleton, CO. He is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, Th.M., Covenant Theological Seminary, M.Div., and Oral Roberts University, B.A.
 
 

Ken has been married to his wife, Cyndii since 1980, and they have 4 children; Katie Beth is married and lives in Austin, TX, Spencer is a computer programmer and lives in Dallas, TX, Austin is in college at the University of North Texas and is spending a year at the Sorbonne in Paris, and Tiffany is still in High school. All four of their children have been home-schooled.

Doug Ruffner-Music Director:

Doug has been employed as the Music Director for First Presbyterian Church since Fall 2000.  He is in charge of the adult choir and until recently was the Children's Music Director. Doug teaches in the Language Arts department for Jenks Middle School and sings with the Tulsa Opera Chorus, a position he has enjoyed for the past 16 years.

Bill Zahringer has been with First Presbyterian Church since 2006. He is a graduate of Oral Roberts University with a Bachelor's degree in Theology and a graduate of Oral Roberts University Seminary with a Masters degree in Christian Counseling.  Bill is also currently working as a counselor for Prue Public Schools. (Before entering ORU, Bill had been pursuing his life long dream of becoming Spider-Man.  Fortunately, God had other plans.)   Bill is newly married to the love of his life, Jenny.
